Hi, My name is Nithin Kumar and I started as an Aeronautical Engineer, graduating from Anna University, Chennai. However, my true passion for networking unfolded when I began working with my dad’s ISP business. From the get-go, I worked with networking hardware like MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cambium, and Cisco, along with deploying custom solutions on Ubuntu servers. This hands-on experience helped me build robust and smart network infrastructures, and it wasn’t long before I joined the family business full-time.
Driven by a curiosity to learn more and extract the most from networking hardware, I embarked on a journey to pursue MikroTik certifications. I completed all available certifications, including MTCNA, MTCRE, MTCINE, MTCTE, MTCWE, MTCEWE, MTCSWE, MTCSE, MTCIPv6, and MTCUME. Now, as a certified MikroTik consultant, I handle the network infrastructure for over 22 ISPs and 16+ corporate clients, ensuring top-tier solutions on a lean budget.
With 10+ years in the ISP industry and more than 7 years working with MikroTik hardware, I have the expertise to resolve complex routing and switching tasks while designing cost-effective network solutions for service providers and enterprises. No matter how challenging the problem, I believe it can be solved with brainstorming and experience.
Every challenge is an opportunity to learn something new. I follow a “learn more, and always keep learning” principle, which keeps me motivated and growing each day. Whether I’m working on network infrastructure or solving intricate technical issues, this approach fuels my drive to find better and smarter solutions.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography, music, and experimenting with new technology and training. Through this blog, I aim to share my knowledge, insights, and practical solutions for Telcos, ISPs, and anyone passionate about networking.
